In 2009 Maris won a place in the Sunday Times ‘100 Best Small Companies to Work for 2009’ list. The survey is the largest employee engagement survey in the world, with more than 3,000 organisations participating. The survey identifies key factors of workplace engagement including leadership, personal growth, well being and team work.
Maris achieved Best Companies (the company behind the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work for list), Two Star accreditation rating in both 2009 and 2010. It is based on a star rating system where one is first class, two are outstanding and three are extraordinary. In total, only 414 organisations received star status in 2009 and 410 in 2010.
