Qatar Banks on Maris

Qatar National Bank SAQ, the country’s first Qatari-owned commercial bank, has appointed Maris Interiors to assist them in the refurbishment of their London headquarters at 51 Grosvenor Street.
The project entails an in-situ refurbishment of 8,000 sq ft throughout the 1720s period Grade II listed building. Maris’ experience with English Heritage and knowledge of buildings of this nature made them the obvious choice for this demanding 15 week programme.
The work entails the careful coordination of construction activities, sympathetic to the building’s period features whilst ensuring that the bank is able to maintain its normal business operations day to day.
The design has been developed to work with the listed features of the period property, merging traditional appearance with contemporary detailing.
