Maris Measure up for 85,000 sq ft MTL Head Quarters

After 3 years of meticulous planning, Maris Interiors has commenced works at the Butterfields Business Park, Luton for Measurement Technology Ltd, marking the start of one of the biggest regional office fit-outs in 2008.
The Measurement Technology Ltd is part of the MTL Instruments Group plc, recognised as a world leader in the development and supply of intrinsic safety explosion protection devices and specialises in lightning protection, surge protection and gas analysis equipment. MTL and Maris Interiors have been working together since 2005 on their new 85,000 sq ft corporate headquarters.
The new headquarters has been specially constructed from the inside out! Maris Interiors became involved with MTL back in 2005 – helping MTL with workplace consultancy and design which resulted in MTL instructing the developer, the Easter Group, to construct the building from scratch, exactly to their specification.
The fit-out element of project will be 27 weeks on site and will encompass the full fit-out of the building from shell, creating all main services, capital plant, manufacturing space, laboratories, environmental chambers for testing plus office space including cellular offices, meeting rooms and associated support service.
Maris' Project Director commented, “After 3 years of collaboration with MTL we are delighted to be on site with this prestigious design and build project.
