Alpari Exchange Eastcheap for Bishopsgate!

January 2009

Maris Interiors is delighted to be assisting Alpari (UK) Limited, a provider of online foreign exchange trading services, to relocate their London head quarters.

Alpari, who announced record growth in trading volumes and customer accounts in 2008, have appointed Maris Interiors to relocate them from their current offices at 41 Eastcheap to 5th floor, 201 Bishopsgate, where they will occupy 15,000 sq ft in this new landmark building designed by architects Skidmore Owings and Merrill. Alpari’s neighbours will include Henderson Global Investors, LBBW and Mayer Brown.

The 15 week project at 201 Bishopsgate is a full Cat A and Cat B fit-out from shell and core. The scope of works includes an elegant and timeless 2,500 sq ft front of house reception area with a feature tropical fish tank, an open plan trading floor for 150 staff, meeting rooms, a large staff lounge breakout area and executive offices.

Maris Interiors fought off stiff competition from a host of other industry competitors to win this prestigious turnkey design, fit-out and furniture contract.

Dip Chatto, Executive Director at Alpari (UK) Limited explained, “The fantastic design and professional approach of the Maris team struck me right from the outset, and coupled with a value for money solution, there was no doubt in my mind who we would appoint. What really swayed my decision however was the absolute commitment of the individuals in the team and I’ve no doubt whatsoever that Maris will deliver what they have designed. Everyone at Alpari is looking forward to the realisation of this office project.”

Maris' Project Director commented, “Dealing with Alpari has been a joy. The exquisite design is testimony to Alpari's vision for the new office and Maris' understanding of that requirement. The team at Maris are proud to be supporting Alpari's growth in London.”
