Maris Interiors second partnership with Global Electronic Trading Company (GETCO) draws to a close this week with the completion of their new 16,000 sq ft UK head office at Vintners’ Place, Upper Thames Street, EC4.
GETCO, a privately-held, electronic trading firm dedicated to enhancing liquidity and efficiency in the world’s financial markets, have offices in London, Chicago, New York and Singapore. Maris first partnered GETCO on the 10,000 sq ft fit-out of their original London head office back in 2005 at Peninsular House, Monument Street, EC3.
The fit-out at Vintners’ Place saw Maris Interiors beat off stiff competition from 2 other industry specialists to win the contract largely due to the successful first project combined with an understanding of the brief and the technical requirements of the project. The scope of works at Vintners’ Place includes a striking 2,000 sq ft front of house reception suite, a state of the art trading floor complete with full back up systems and bright, modern meeting rooms.
Maris have helped GETCO to ‘future proof` their office, incorporating appropriate space and power to allow for future expansion and assisting them with the significant technical challenges within the building, involving major upgrades to the base build air conditioning system.
