Maris to Make Hanover 10 Years Younger
June 2009
Maris Interiors has recently been appointed to undertake an in-situ refurbishment project for Hanover Housing, one of the largest specialist providers of retirement housing, related support and services in England, at their head office in Staines, Middlesex. The project started on 8th May and is scheduled to take 10 weeks to complete.
The project will be a phased refurbishment of two 12,000 sq ft floors. Having already successfully completed a fit-out for Hanover Housing in the same building almost ten years ago, Maris was the natural choice to partner Hanover this time round. This, coupled with an economic price plan, inspired design solution and the ability to perform in-situ works with minimal disruption, secured this prestigious refurbishment project for Maris and Hanover Housing.
The main focus of the project is a re-stack of the mechanical elements such as air conditioning, ceilings, floors, walls and lighting. Extra partitioning will provide more cellular offices as well as the complete refurbishment of the existing open plan space. There will also be a new meeting suite with an updated reception area.
Maris' Project Director commented,“The key to this project is minimising disruption to Hanover Housing’s daily routine. We will be working out of hours and back of house to achieve the target dates. Maris has a good working relationship with Hanover from the last project and considering our knowledge of their building, we will aim to deliver this mainly mechanical refurbishment, on time, to budget and with minimal disruption to our Client.”
