Maris Interiors is delighted to announce the completion of the first phase of works for DHL, the global market leader of the international express and logistics industry.
DHL, who offer expertise in express, air and ocean freight, overland transport, contract logistics solutions as well as international mail services, combined with worldwide coverage and an in-depth understanding of local markets, have commenced a phased refurbishment of their 60,000 sq ft head office and operations centre in Orbital Park, Hounslow.
Maris Interiors have been working with DHL for many months to help them to re-plan and restack their existing space to accommodate 250 staff from another facility.
This first phase of works has encompassed the opening up of areas within the existing space, taking down walls and partitions to create a more open plan office environment, new carpeting and redecoration throughout.
Maris' Project Director commented, “We have been working with DHL for a long time to help them to develop their plans for the restack and refurbishment, in order that we get it right for them, accommodating the new staff into the existing space whilst causing minimal disruption and down time as the works take place. We are looking forward to moving into the second phase of works.”
