Maris Interiors bring Leeds to London!

The Medical Research Council, a division of the University of Leeds has appointed Maris Interiors to refurbish their first London department at 43 Whitfield Street.
The department is spread over two floors, encompassing a total of 5,500 sq ft of space. The project started on site on the 10th of August and is due to take five weeks to complete. The space will accommodate approximately 20 staff in a mainly open plan area, 3 cellular offices, 2 meetings rooms, two tea points and a copy print space.
The Client’s brief was to create an open plan layout with plenty of natural daylight, using lots of glass and low-level storage. They wanted a space that encouraged a collaborative culture by interlocking departments which in turn would promote “team work”.
Maris' Project Director commented, “Given their tight time frame and budget, the Medical Research Council opted to appoint Maris Interiors largely thanks to our proven track record on delivering projects on time, to schedule and on budget. We look forward to the successful completion in early September.”
