Maris SCOR an Outstanding Result!

September 2009

Maris Interiors are delighted to have recently achieved a “High Level Beyond Compliance” on an assessment from the Considerate Constructors Scheme.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme is an external body, endorsed by the government, which assesses the principal contractor’s performance in key areas such as the environment, the workforce and the general public. The key objectives of these areas are designed to encourage work to be of a sustainable and environmentally conscious manner with minimal impact to the surrounding area and general public.

Maris were scored for this assessment while onsite with SCOR, one of the largest reinsurance companies in the world. The project involves the fit-out of 4 floors spread over 22,000 sq ft in the newly refurbished 10 Lime Street in the heart of the city. The brief is to design and build a total of twenty six unique joinery elements to provide a bespoke designed solution tailor made for SCOR. Completion of the project is scheduled for the end of October.

Maris' Health and Safety Director said “This award measures Health and Safety and Environmental compliance and our achievement of a ‘high level beyond compliance’ score is a reflection of the great effort that the team at Maris have put into attaining this outstanding result”.
