Matthews Daniel take no risks with Maris!
October 2009
Matthews Daniel has appointed Maris Interiors to assist them in their relocation from Lime Street to 10 Fenchurch Street. Matthews Daniel who specialise in providing loss adjusting, surveying and appraisal services to the energy industry and its insurers, are one of the first tenants in this brand new redevelopment. The 6,000 sq ft project started on site at the beginning of October with a 6 week programme of works.
Maris assisted Matthews Daniel from an early stage in their building search process, carrying out test fits and building evaluations to help them to select the right property for their business. Coupled with intense team interaction, an excellent design and the confidence in Maris’ ability to deliver, Maris was head and shoulders above the competition.
The interior design is a combination of both open plan and cellular work areas, which supports the functions of the business and sympathetically coordinates the interior architecture with the buildings own contemporary design. The prominent use of glass with fine levels of detailing provides a transparent environment.
Maris' Project Director commented, “It was encouraging to work with a Client who had a passion for ensuring the design solution optimised not only the architecture of the building but the impressive views across the Thames and the City. The design solution addresses this and the finished project will be testimony to the benefits of a close working relationship”.
