Thames River flows back to Maris
February 2010
Maris Interiors are delighted to announce their second major fit-out for Nevsky Capital LLP and their parent company, Thames River Capital.
Nevsky Capital is a limited liability partnership, which commenced business on 1 January 2007. The members of Nevsky Capital LLP are the senior investment professionals who formerly constituted the Global Emerging Markets team of Thames River Capital LLP.
Having previously completed a project for Thames River Capital at Landsdowne House and subsequently a number of reconfigurations in their Head Office, Maris were first on the list for Nevsky Capital’s 4,000 sq ft expansion requirement.
10 Old Burlington Street is a building of heritage, boasting a new Grade A development behind a retained period façade. Nevsky Capital, already occupy the 5th floor and has expanded within the building, taking extra space on the 2nd floor.
The scope of works included the relocation of Nevsky’s front of house area from the 5th Floor to the 2nd Floor and the creation of an exceptional meeting room suite, incorporating 2 large board rooms, 3 medium meeting rooms and a tea point / kitchen area for their visitors. The main requirement for this additional space was a large open plan area, which could house up to 50 workstations to cope with the future growth Nevsky Capital envisage.
Maris commenced on site immediatley after the Christmas break and completed this fast track 4 week programme in plenty of time for Nevsky’s definitive occupation date.
Maris' Design Director commented, “I was obviously delighted to be able to work with Thames River Capital and the Nevsky team again. Due to our personal relationship and our knowledge of the company, we were able to plan the space and develop the Client’s brief with very little direction”.
